Horoscopes are the general understanding of the energy as related to a person’s sun and/or rising sign. It is a great way to get your feet wet in the understanding of astrology, but it is the shallowest representation of astrology. Your personal astrology is far more complex than what a horoscope will reveal, but a horoscope can be a great quick check-in with the energy.

Gemini Sun and Rising Weekly Horoscope Sep 14 – 20 2020

Gemini, happy new week and blessed new moon!

The astrology is interesting for Gemini at the moment, but not easy, because it’s dealing with your emotions in a major way.

This new moon on the 17th is in Virgo, your 4th house, your house of emotion, of home and family. Combine that with your ruling planet Mercury being in Venus’ domain of Libra, making squares to Jupiter and Pluto this week, and God is asking you to stop trying to be so locked down in your relationships, in your emotions.

The new moon is squaring the nodes, and the north node is in your home sign, your house of identity. This week is all about how you identify in your emotions to other people, how you relate in your relationships.

You need to check in. Where are you in your own identity, and in your relationships?

Jupiter has gone direct now in your 8th house, so there’s a need for intimacy, passion, and trust. But I just feel that you’re wanting to control how all those things look.

We all have to remember that everything has seasons, nothing stays forever, but we can learn to be present and okay with things and people and seasons as they come and go.

You’re being asked to develop a new strategy. Your emotions are ready to shift, but you are holding the ideas of what happiness is so tightly in your mind, that your emotions don’t actually have a chance to engage. It’s time to rebalance yourself, find your center, dig deep and be honest about what you truly want, and how safe you feel in asking for it.

It’s like you want all the lovely emotion, the happiness and fulfillment life has to offer. But we experience all that through our emotion, and you only get the emotion by trust, by going deep. There’s no way to go through life thinking you have everyone figured out. There’s a risk that needs to be taken to trust … not to trust that person not to damage you, but rather to trust yourself to handle it if they do.

Take a risk, enjoy the ride, then deal with whatever the aftermath might be… that’s life. It’s time for you to really dive into it.

I hope you have a blessed week ahead, giving you huge hugs and sending the courage you need to take the risks that will bring you to everything you ever wanted. Namaste and many blessings – Samantha
